Welcome to the Spartanburg Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Our mission is to enrich lives through organ and choral music. To achieve this, we offer a variety of chapter programs designed to encourage excellence in performance, educate and inspire, provide mutual support through our network of colleagues, be a resource for church committees and clergy, offer organ scholarships to young organists, mentor new organists, promote the historic and evolving roles of the organ, and engage our wider Greenville-Spartanburg community. The Spartanburg Chapter of the AGO invites all church musicians, new organists, choir directors, pastors, music committee members, and all local musicians and music lovers to join the AGO.
